I love this with the white socks againt the stone background with just a little color coming from the clothes pins and the sock cuffs. Minor suggestion: The dark area in the center behind the socks might benefit from a small amount of dodging to give it a little bit more definition.

I know very well this kind of socks, we have too in Roamnia (lol) we are very "italian" in our way:))

what I love best here are pegs... I love my pegs too when I dry the clothes, they are so colorfull:)) and don't laugh anymore of the europen way to dry clothes, because it's more healthy than the canadian way:D

now I look on my balcony to see if my pegs are as merry as this one:))

Funny shot ... all these socks in a line. Indeed, they are not white enough for a comercial. I like the repeatiton and this typical italian atmosphere.

LOL, you two definitely had "the thing" with clothe lines during vacations, I should send you some local photos, just to enjoy the clothing lines here! :))))
Model is interesting, but there are too many noise around. Yet, I must agree with Magda, this definitely shouldn't be a Persil ad! :))))
Very funny shot with lot of spirit and daily life in it. That's what makes good shot, technique comes as an add-on.

Je me rappele bien des corde à linge de mon enfance, mais pas de voir les bas regroupé par paire si fidèlement. Facinabt de voir comme certaines personnes s'occupe des détails à ce point. Très bien vue.

Salut,Pierre! Belle photo qui me rappelle les cordes a linge de ma mere! Mais je trouve cette photo tout a fait particuliere! Elle doit avoir ou plusieurs enfants ou bien cet enfant se change a tous les jours...Comique comme cliché! On peut se poser mille questions! Une photo "bavarde" comme je les appelle...une photo qui vaut bien mille mots! Michel

I don't blame you for your fascination with clotheslines, Pierre. You hardly see them here anymore, and they always bring back memories of being out with my mother as she hung clothes on the line - and her fussing at me because I kept playing with them after they were hung! She was one of the last in the neighborhood to get a dryer! :)

Lol! Great capture Pierre. Maybe your POV could be different, because dark background with many different element distracting the attention.
So interesting its all in pairs really, perhaps i woul prefer to get them in pairs after drying :)

I think it was a good thing that the clothespegs were all in colour, Pierre. They, with the socks, form a nice contrast to the softer colours in the shot. Nice angle. Actually, this reminds me of something I read on Paul Indigo's site: "The key to being a good photographer is being able to make anything look interesting as an image." Quite a challenge, making socks look like something interesting ;o)).
