I'm sorry about the reason which brought you to post this photo of a cute hero with such loving eyes.
In spite of the fact that he intervened so heroically, be cautious, next time the thieves might take precautions and even harm your dog (hope not).
However, I'm glad everything turned out fine.

Hi Anne France, that's really well caught, of course he's such an expressive dog....I would see it so well in BW, especially the overxposed parts, which work well here IMO.

Hi Anne!

Sigh, I'm sorry to hear about that horrible incident, people are such idiots- there are other ways of getting money- ugh!

But! I can relate to this shot, in SA we had four boxers (amazing breed!) they are such loving, loyal, protective (God only knows how many intruders they scared of!) and fun dogs, always ready to go swimming, running and always up for some petting. :) I love his expression, almost seems to say- "don't mess with my family, or you'll come face to face with me!"

Even without your note, this image is substantially good by itself. A nice portrait of a great animal- such a nice dog. :) Good details, and the colouring is well... just right! Take care.
