This shot is looking down the river Valley from Sigulda. I'm a little late (some two weeks) to get the full effect of the beautiful Autumn colours... but perhaps on your trip there you will get the moment right? ;)
This River Gauja is very beautiful and also considered quite dangerous, known for her changing river bed and sometimes deadly currents. Boat trips with camping in the Guaja National park is a wonderful way to get realy close and enjoy the beautiful Latvian nature...
Nice to be back around here, as am so enjoying the new people I get to meet on here and the places I get to see... going to try to post now for a few days more of beautiful Sigulda. :)
