[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture comes from the last wedding that I covered. The wedding traditions here are an amazing experience. This is one of the last of the whole event. This is also done at birthdays.

The couple or person having a birthday is put on a chair and their friends hold the chair and take them up and down as many times as is the years of their birthday.

This can be as here seen very vigourous. This was a great chance shot as I was up close and got the timing and frame, I think, just right. It was quite late at night but this time.

They are both wearing hats that are given them for this last part of the wedding. Just before this they both have to sit on their mothers knee and they are rocked and sung to by all the guests and their perants. The cigar was also added as part of the 'costume' for the groom.

It is so nice to take a little time to add a picture here again... life has been very busy, and things are all in all going quite well.

I wish all my friends here a sun shining fall, and those in the Southern Hemisphere a life full spring.

There was very little pp here, a little tweak of Brightness & contrast, & a very little bit of color saturation. All done as usual manauly in FinepixViewer program.

These moments we can catch they are a myriad wonder... :)

Whow, this is picture is great!
It's ghosty-spooky.
The laughing groom, while you're not able to see the rest of his body.
The figure who is lifting the chair, or are there 3 figures? And the groom is still smiling hahahaha.

wow what a lovely moment indeed Francis! so nice to see you, your wedding photography and also get a glimpse into other traditions within the marraige ceremony.. very cool shot my friend :-))

oh, this is nice!
emotional. looks that this wedding party was quite funny. and that's a good sign! probably it's a bit too dark, however, as this is usually done around midnight - nothing lighter wouldn't fit the situation. :) and a new husband looks so great with cigar! wow!

btw, going to a wedding party this weekend. :) however, not going to take much photos there.
