I took for you the beautifully verdant and slightly dark feeling habitat that was so being enjoyed firstly by the three storks that flew over I would say in hunting mode... (who of course I missed a shot of) and when I got out of my car and walked down to this point, about 30 metres away I saw two deer jumping through the thin forest. Impossible to get a shot of... but filled me with wonder for this amazing verdant spring me have here...

I gave this a small levels adjustment to keep it's dark brooding nature, and then did a little shadow highlight adjustment as the sky at top rear was a little blown and therefore also the reflection of it in the water also a bit bright. (what do you think now?)

That same little drive I did see and capture pictures of deer and hawks, and three storks which were the easiest because they were getting a free feed following a tractor around on a field that was being sown.

Kind regards to all,

Francis

Beautiful shot space cam and rugged tension.

Hi Francis, I reckon, like me, you'll have to keep your camera around your neck! TFS. I like the mood here, kind of Okefenogee Swamp feel. TFS.

Hello Francis - I haven't seen you for a long time. I see you're still in Latvia - I'm still in NZ.
Nice moody pic here, the dark parts are showing up well - now extra shadows there - good job,

Hi Francis

A very under rated shot, imho. Superb graphism & contrasted lighting with excellent reflections & compo. Would also work well in b&w. Tfs!

Hi Francis,

I like the look, this whole forest dries with their beautiful branches drawing the place. and this beautiful river with their reflexes is big that here!
Great capture and beautiful visual! Pleasant Shot
