[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These ice formations where hanging from the shed roof, and perhaps because it was such a warm winter the longest grew to about one and a half meters long. Here I have captured the sun shinning into the largest one. And as it was the suns heat melting the ice from above to form more in the -10 and lower temperatures then it is fitting... :)

Very little PP, minor levels/brightness/contrast adjustments, cropped and made ready for internet.

I really like winter so I guess as here we have the last few frosts in the morning, this shot is a reminder of the fun and interest that can be in winter...

HI Francis,
How many time without seeing a real "ice stalactite"... Winter has been so "miserable" here, no cold at all, that I'm even happy to see them, at least on the net...
Good work here, you got an odd, nice appearance, like metal, with the largest one.
