Great wintry scene, Like the composition of the land with the stream weaving it's way through it. Would have perhaps cropped off some of the sky.

Hello Francis. There has been some hint that some parts of Tasmania may have some snow, it did fall on Mount Wellington in Hobart on Christmas Day. A lovely image, well composed and superb detail. All the best for 2007,

Hi, Francis, simply had to come back and comment on this. We haven't had any snow this year and scenery like this has become rare. But I see it was also a freak event in Latvia. You should go out and shoot this same landscape tomorrow and post it to show us Latvia in January. You controlled all that white well.
