The tree in forest of Dark and Light?
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
"The tree stood alone although all around it's brothers were whispering come to our side sway with us to the dark or to the light..."
Life the ever lasting oscillation from dark to light...
I didn't use photo shop for this... ;)
I didn't do a slight level and then a bit of brightness and contrast change and then I for sure didn't use the filter Bass relief and then play with the levels quite a bit more and then play with brightness and contrast again... (pssst will post original to workshop)
Damn seems you all have brought me from the light of minimalist nature photography to the dark ways of Photo manipulation...
And I like it! ;) Thanks to all those who have shared in this fun process over this last year. Last night was the Baha'i New Year, "Naw Ruz". So into spring here for me and hoping that my real sway can be for the light and this beautiful growing life we now find all around us... :) |

Amazing photo I say. On a thumbnail this looked like an icy window, but hey, it's not. It is about trees, right?
Very effective ps, which you didn't do ;-).

Hello Francis,
Wonderful relief effect! It looks like an engraving. Actually better than the original. Congratulations & TFS.

Nice idea. Looks like fossiles. Still, a good b/w rendering may be at least even interesting.
It's true it look like icy windows... It was my first impression from the Thumbnail. But the tree stay enough in detail to stay in a good interest!
