Nice photo. DOF is very specific to the bicycle. Did you edit the photo to create this effect?

Tilt a few degrees off center. I would have approached the shot the followign way
1)gotten dirty on the ground to get it
2)Centered the peer to get two intersecting lines
3)focal point on the bike dissolve into soft focus.

The flaws would have been the shadow effect would bave been killed but who knows maybe a shot focusing on the shadow could have been done.
