Hello Bettija,
As you say it: this photo is about freedom. And you achieve to make us feel it thanks to simple but effective composition, the theme of the sea and the pose of your model, who does seem to enjoy her steps towards freedom...
But what strikes me even more, are the dark colours and the strong saturation: they make the little waves of the sea very "palpable". You would like to dive into them!
Unlike Rew Shearer, I don't think the horizon is entirely level, but that's a minor detail...
