hi sharlote!
your photo caught my attention while looking through gallery! it's a nice B&W and the expression of your model is extrordinary. he is very expressive and you caught in your picture the entire mood and atmosphere! i also like the shodows behind him -> good composition!
good job! but i would have liked to read some notes for this picture...

Hi Sharlote, welcome to TL! Really nice shot with a great vantage point and angle, I like the play on scale, making his hands and arms look huge and powerful, and then his funny facial expression in-focus in the background. You handled the shallow depth of field really well here and the cropping and framing of the the top of his head and the sides of his hands works really well here. I like the use of desaturation and rather bright contrasts to give the shot a nostalgic, happy, and sunny feel to it. It's very unique. Excellent detail and clarity: you can see the textures of his skin and the little hairs on his arms. Wonderful use of natural lighting with those dynamic shadows in the background. The broken shadowns create lines that compliment the position of his arms. Excellent shot, can't wait to see more from you!
