Welcome to TL Inga,

Nice picture to start with. Good post processing and framing. I would advice to switch to digital imaging, you would enjoy it.

Thanks for sharing this picture and keep on sharing your new creative work.

Hello Inga,
First of all, welcome to TrekLens!
So, there are still new/young users of analogue camera's here... Nice to know that. I only bought my first digital camera some weeks ago and will still be using the analogue one, because it are two different but complementary worlds... Digital cameras make experiments/learning more easy (and cheaper!); analogue cameras require some patience and thinking before shooting (you have to be selective)... So, I'd suggest you: the day you buy a digital cam, keep using both, depending on the circumstances...
As to the photos, I think they have much potential, but personally, I would have preferred a series of two seperate, bigger photos instead of "two in one": sometimes, simplicity is stronger than sophistication. I prefer the photo on the right side, because it shows less, but suggests more. As to the darker parts in the background, I don't think they are distracting, because they're blurred and do not divert our attention from the main theme.
The frame you choose does'nt bother me, but wasn't necessary in my opinion (your photos are strong enough).
Just my personal view, so take it for what it's worth.
Thanks for sharing, kind regards & hope you'll have a good time here on TL,
Erik

jolie montage et les flous donne une douceur mérité pour cette jolie femme enceinte... félicitation
à bientôt

Hey Inga
Great pose you have there. You can easily erase those dark things on the window, might give a bigger contrast.
Digital will make your life much easier.
Cheers
David

very good presentation as well as the framing, tfs.
nice outcome from 35mm. ;-)

Wow Inga! Amazing composition, good idea, very good job. Nice effect. God bless mother and child!

nice one! but tje frame doesn`t fit to the image. its nice, but IMO not for that kind of theme.

Learn with 35mm... I understand your artistic choice. After all... I learn with a 1.4 megapix digiital but learn by lieaning 3 second hand book about The base of 35mm, A more technical about 35 mm and a more artistic view well with spirit a little oldies at it was 3 books from the 80's i find... But i convert all that learning to digital by my interpretation. I find it funny...

So i presume you already know the limit of the camera but you could play with it too!
You start with a classic but already with a nice difference by framing with another shot...
The play by the window let her in some anonymous too!
Disturb no if you ask the question... Probably many different see of it... For my i hate too much repetitive serie. But there is many way to be original...
Welcome on TL!

Hie Inga,

Congrats to your sister. It's very sweet of you to post her as a model on Treklens.

TFS,
Hong

Hello Inga.
Its always a wonder when it comes to a birth.
The left picture I like most, but the insideframing disturbs it, aswel the dark spots.
Besides, as a single picture, both will come out better.
OK, thats my opinion.
Best regards from Jan

Hi,
In my personal view frame is not matching, looks a bit cheesy and I would stick to one photo only, perhaps B&W could do as well, I will try some WS let me know what you think.
Well, tastes are variable,...hope you dont mind my critique.
TFS.

excellent idea... excellent shot... great compo... and the frame is very original... i like it... tFS...
