This reflection stopped my steps on my way to look for a photo equipment shop in Riga. In the middle of Gertrudes Street is a most impressive cathedral. When I say right in the middle the street actually goes around it, it is like a huge stone round-about.
One block down there is a building that the street continues under like a tunnel, inside is a walk street part. These windows are on the building that goes over the street.
Riga the capital of Latvia, has many, many, beautiful buildings. There is the old part of town, but also just all over the central city can be seen such interesting and artistically made old buildings.
The other interesting thing about this photo is that I took it at the lowest quality setting on my camera. At 1 Megapix. And yet still I think it looks ok... what do you think?
I did a little image adjustment, as usual manually using the Finepix viewer program that comes with the camera. I decreased brightness a bit, then increased contrast a bit, and increased color saturation a bit more than the others. After resizing I increased contrast a little more to make it sharp again. :) Hope this image finds you happy... |

I like the crooked reflection of the church steeple. I think you would have had more impact if you had straighten up the lines in the building. Still, good catch!

Like a color contrast, a bit macabre atmosphere... Here is created the general feelengs and mood. Super! But one thing, maybe can crop from the top and right side a bit...
