[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I am very sorry for my absence, but it has to do with the very full on full time job I have been doing from the start of this year.

But in some ways it is great that I get to see so much more of Latvia doing it. (you can ask me if you want what it is but I'm not going to tell everyone...) :D

Took this shot from the passengers seat of the work truck as we went across this hydro dam / bridge that comes across the River Daugava to the town of Aizkraule.

It makes me wonder how long such a structure will be in existence? Plus knowing that it is said that all the land around this area within 80 years will be (by current estimates) under sea water... interesting.

On one side how man makes stuctures that he believes should last well beyond his generation and on the other how the changing shifting fortunes of the earth erase his very proud presence... :)

Sorry got sidetracked. Very little manipulation here. :) Wishing you all a great move into the second half of summer. :)
