[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The church is a basilica built on traditional cross plan with a lantern dome pouring extra light to its white interior. The freestanding columns in the main facade were used for the first time in the Lithuanian ecclesiastical architecture. The inscription around the basis of the dome (Tu es Petrus et supra hanc petram edificabo ecclesiam meam et portae inferi non praevale buntadversus eam) is the same as in the St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican. The church is decorated with over 2000 figures. The frescos are attributed to Johann Gotthard Berchhoff.[citation needed] Two female heads opposite the St. Augustine Chapel represent two sister nations: Poland and Lithuania.

Hello Anna, this is a beautiful building. Such lovely ornate decorations and figures. I'd love to go there to see it.
And I really like seeing the summery colours on the clothes of the congregation. They brighten up the whole image and bring out the colours in the wall paintings too,

This is really well done. Good on you for using a tripod, I get a bit lazy and don't use them much but this shows me that I really should make more effort. It's a lovely sharp image, good depth of focus and detail. I particularly like the low light coming in a striking the statue of the saint on the left (is it Jesus? not sure).
