Probably the most widely known symbol of Lithuania – Gediminas castle, standing in the very centre of the now modern capital Vilnius. Built some 600 years ago. Served as a fortification for the grand dukes. It is a symbol of heroic past of the land that lies beneath, inspiration for people that continue to live, work and reach great things.
As you have probably noticed, this is HDR image. So far – my best try at the technique.
What I especially like about the image is the superb dynamic range. The 8-bit available are pushed to the max! To see the whole scale of dark and light colours I have to tilt my head around, appears that my lcd can't draw that sort of range straightly. |
