[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The other day I was at the airport very early in the morning. I thought I might get a shot of a plane taking off in the early morning light. But as I approached the airport area from the back I was met by this sight. In a few days it will be 11 September for the third time after 9/11. And I wondered: Is the world any safer for all its barbed wire?

I rotated slightly, did some barrel distortion correction, cropped, resized, applied automatic contrast and saturation, sharpened slightly in PSP and ran it through NeatImage for the sky.

I ask a similar question myself. Barbed wire is not for security, it's just a symbol bearing a portion of the meaning of a modern life. Great job!

Good photo. The barbed wire in the sunset definitely does make you think..

Very nice picture, looks like inside of a prison wall. I like it with the nice sky in the back, very well done!
