[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This eye has seen a lot of road. It is a headlamp of a 1965 VW bus which has found its final resting place in our garden for the past 24 years. From 1977 to 1980 we toured what was then Yugoslavia as well as France and Spain and Austria and Germany and Denmark in this old thing. And before we got it, it had already seen 150.000 kilometers of European roads. No wonder the eye is watering.
I posted a full frontal view as workshop. It has served as a playhouse and garden shed for a long time, but is ready for the man with the scythe (or the blow-torch) now.

Fine capture.

A sad feeling to view the demise of a faithful servant. But as is the way of life of all things, even us humans, it has served you well and it's time is over. Your photo is well done and you have preservered the memory of your '65 bus now, and you have done well....

I bought my volkswagon van in dec. 1968, a brand new 1969 car, right off the show room floor. I gave it away 2 years ago, when I left to travel. I loved that car. No one woule keep it for me while I was gone.....I drove it nonstop all those years...
