[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Last Friday 3rd March it snowed for four hours clear across Belgium, Luxembourg, Northern France and Germany. A lot of people had to leave their cars at work and hope for a bus or a train to get them home. And of those who dared take the cars, many found themselves stuck in traffic jams for hours because of accidents. It was pure chaos at a time when we are usually enjoying the first signs of spring. This guy had possibly taken the best means of transportation to work. At least he got through, although it looked like a wobbly ride.

Small enhancements like clarifying and sharpening and noise reduction.

Hi Per,

A great photo, crystal clear quite literaly :) I feel for the cyclist traveling on that icey surface though (tricky!) The way my eye is drawn into the shot for me makes a great photograph.

I fear our country would grind to hault with that much snow. It only takes and inch or two here to put a spanner in the works :)

Excellent shot Per

It still snowed in Belgium today, but in Flanders it's way too hot for the snow to keep...
Nice capture, Per. I tried taking the bike to the station that Friday, but it was wobbly indeed. Some older bycicle tracks were frozen, and that was rather tricky if you happened to drive in it.
Your enhancements are not noticeable, so that means they're subtle and well done.
TFS. Spring is just around the corner... just hope the door doesn't freeze ;o).

Hi Per,
Excellent view of the snow and more snow. LOL You can have it all and more. I see the snow we had in Feb ended up across the pond.
Well done.

Mike

bonjour Per. Mauvais temps pour les uns, beau temps pour les autres surtout pour les photographes. Ce cycliste est vraiment courageux. La photo est bien équilibrée et il existe une belle perspective.

That is a lot of snow Per for one day. That cyclist must be brave to encounter the cold, snow and ice. Good suburban shot.

Bicycle - the best type of transport. Gasoline it is not necessary and to transfer easily.

Hi, Per. I always enjoy the gray skies of a snowy day. Lovely, coooold shot! Not sure I'd want to ride a bike in these temperatures!

Gayle :)

Bravo!
