[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is one taken from a train on a fairly grey afternoon in December - through the window while the train was moving. I realise the result looks fairly classical, but that is the result of hard work. And that is exactly why I post it. It is amazing how one can salvage a bad digital photo with the proper tools. And in this case they were too numerous to mention, but somehow all came together. They did include clarifying, saturating colours, sharpening, softening, and most of those several times before and after resizing. It is often a case of trial and error. I post the original as workshop to let you compare the "before" and "after".

Ciao Per, great view of the wonderful old town, splendid composition, very well done, ciao Silvio

Looks very old! I like how it kind of brings you into the past. It looks like there was a fire or something. A little grainy but nice colors. TFS.

Hi,Per!
Very nice shot!Wonderful atmosphere and very nice colours!
Regards!
Yuri.

To compare the original with your pp work is two different worlds. I wish to some day have your touch with pping. You captured a nice view and did great work on it to get it to where it is now.
Wonderful!!

Wonderful save work on this one, Per, as it looks totally different. Maybe a bit busy composition but at the same time it gives a nice overall view of the city. Well done!

Good to see you posting again and my best wishes for 2007!

Sorry, my bag is empty for the day!

Hi Per,

Are you for real? Is this place real? it look like a toy town to me... everything look so magical and small. :P Excellent work, great composition, even thought you captured it while you are in the train, I can't seem to see any shacken part, you have also done a great job with your pp work with it. Well done, thanks for sharing

Cheers,
Sweety

Well done and best regards,
Daniel

This is a beautiful scene Per. I looked at your original image, and I must say well done on the PP work. You have rescued it perfectly.
