| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This one is for my five year old granddaughter - or rather should I say from her. I was working on some photos yesterday when she came in, sat down next to me and started telling me to enhance more, and more, and more. I showed her a few filtres in PSP9 and as she likes bright colours we ended up with this which she thinks has definite "princess" qualities. The original that I would surely have posted ended up in the workshop. You are welcome to compare! |

I'm sorry for your granddaughter Per, but I prefer your original version. I used PSP for a couple of days, but have abandoned it. One filter which I really loved, however, is "clarify". Did you give that one a try ? I think the subject would be great for it.
Nice compo and a nice subject as well. But IMO filters shouldn't be used in overdose ;o).
Anyway, TFS

I share the same view as Dingo I'm affraid. Children maybe have the intension to overdo things ;)
The original and it's composition are great!

Hi Per. I like it. A different dimension seen through a childs eyes. Having used PSP from version 5, then 8 and now X (or 10) I find nothing wrong with it. Well done on doing what your granddaughter asked. TFS,
David
I can imaging why your little Grandaughter liked this version because of all the colours, esecially the pink. I prefer the original version myself. I tend to agree with Frank about the clarify tool. I like that one too.

Well it may sound as undecided but I like both your versions. First of all for the story this somewhat abandoned backyard corner tells. Then the HPP version reminds me of some attempts I did many years ago to solarize a BW print. It looked somewhat similar. The digital darkroom is fun too but sometimes I think I miss the smell of the chemicals...

Tibi
