That eye is just wonderful. I think the selective desaurisation works well here. Stunning details in the feathers and an inventive crop

Really great photo! ^-^
I'm doing lots of partial black and whites myself lately and this one is stunning :D
However, (this may be my bad eyesight) it seems as though there is still some colour around the eye as well... some brown-ish feathers. It might be even better if you made those black and white too ^-^
I'll try and do a workshops and see whether it makes a difference ^-^
