hi, i'm back with this funny little bandit :)
a young racoon girl, growing up in our wildlife care center with her sister.
wiki: Two of the most distinctive characteristics of the raccoon are its facial mask around the eyes and extremely sensitive front paws; they are also known for their good memory.often raccoons live together in small, loose groups.Their original habitats are deciduous or mixed forests, but due to their adaptability, they are also found in urban areas.
raccoons are omnivorous and usually most active during the night.
The most important sense for the raccoon is its sense of touch.The “hyper sensitive” front paws with five freestanding fingers are surrounded by a thin layer of callus for protection. Almost two thirds of the area responsible for sensory perception in the cerebral cortex is specialised for the interpretation of tactile impulses, more than in any other animal. |

Great action shot of this bandit :). You captured this moment just right with perfect sharpness on the subject (good focus, too). The background is nicely blurred that calls more attention on the subject. Wonderful natural colours and contrast. Well done!
