Another pov on the Osogovo Monastery of St. Joakim. The Monastery stands in this mountain fold for a millenium but is renovated in the 19th century. Some repairs and renovations are still going on. In the past the monastery has been called Sarandapori, which in Greek means "Forty fords" - those that one had to traverse on his way up the Kriva reka (Twisting river) that runs down right behind the Monastery.

Hi Anton, superb pov and you left enough space all around and the greenery enhances the monastery. It shows how isolted it is.
The human elements in the photo is a bonus.
Very sharp image. And good control on white balance.

Well done and Take care, Yan :)

HI Anton,

Wonderful point of view ... intense sense of dimension .. I love the way the peaceful and white building is framed by the greens. Very nice.

take care,

John

Hello Anton,
Good point of view of this fine piece of architecture!
I like the composition of this view from above, inclusion of people adds life and provides scaling...
The surrounding vegetation adds to the impression this is a peaceful corner of the world!
Greetings,
Pablo -
