[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Since I don't have much time at the moment to make some new pictures, I decided to show you one of the Macedonia photos.
This old house is a typical example of Ohrid architecture. The streets are very narrow there - I had to lean on the opposite wall to make this shot, and that is why it is a bit cropped.
I know the sky is too bright, but I was afraid it might look artificial if I tried to change it.
PP: not much, just cloned out some wires above the terrace, USM,raised contrast slightly, framed, resized.
Any suggestions welcomed, as always.

Very beautiful photo of the old building Marija and a intresting POV...I took today a photo of a building with the same POV...you can see it on my homepage link when you like it...made a picture in the corner.
Your note is also very intresting I like to learn those kind of things about other cultures.
My compliments :-D

this is very good MARIA..GREAT LIGHT AND COLORS

Hi Marija. This is great architecture photo not only because the building is interesting but your lighting is great. Actually I find the lighting a little more interesting then the building itself. Very cool. A person walking around the corner is the only thing I can think would have improved it. Great photo! JP

Hi Marija, If you point out to all the little mistakes then there's nothing to criticize!! :)))) Yea, wonderful lights and colours... If I wouldn't know the conditions... I would say... it's a pity that the top and bottom is cropped!! but knowing the fact that you were leaning to the opposite wall...it's a pretty good job like this!! :)) .... You need to obtain a wide angle lens then.... :))))
Have a good night Marija! :))
cheers

Guzel kompozisyon. Bravo

Hi Marija,
Very nice picture. The POV it's amazing and the colors, light and textures are superb. Very well done.
Regards, António

as usual marija, you don't dissapoint. love the colours of this derelict house. the peeling brick, looks as if, no one has even attempted to fix it up. sadly, i doubt that's the actual reason.

good shot
cheers

Very good architectural shot! You really bring me back that old postcard mood of Ohrid (sjećaš se kutija šibica sa kućama iz Ohrida?).
Great colors and details, too bad you've cropped the top. Well, now it's sure the time to get yourself some wide lens camera! :)

Great job, congratulations!
Robert

Good job! Fine detail. I like that type of worn-out image. The colors are good, and it probably looks better without clouds or blue sky as it gives it a more run-down look. Well done.

The sky is a little bright but the contrast shows off the color and textures very well and I think that makes up for the sky. This place sure could use a facelift.

You've focused so much on technicalities and missed the great mood in your own shot! Maria, Maria ... think dear, think! :))

Same house with two faces - one run out, 'wrinkled', with colourless - grayish - windows, looking to the past. The other, darker but facing the blue sky reflected in its window. I like it even more, knowing that you refrained yourself from using PS. If you are capable to bring such wonderful feel of aging with minimum intervention - then I can only imagine what could you do with pp!

ComplimentS!

Hello Marija... I feel the mood of these buildings and also streets... The pattern of them is really strong... Their tones creates a impressive mood...

Eek - this is a really rough-looking building! I guess it's occupied, since there seem to be window coverings. I like the light striking the one side of windows. You still manage to have nice detail on the other side.

It's good!
Gayle

Thsi shot has both wonderful colours and wonderful textures! And tell us a little about your place and daily life.
I like the corner shot. Give s a nice perspective, and the sky is indeed a but bright, but nothing that substract from the beauty of the image.

Great job Marija,

Take care, Stef :))

Very good architectural shot, Marija, to show us a bit of the feel of Macedonia. I like your corner angle which show us well the structure of the house and the colours are well rendered. Well done!
