What an amazing visual treat this is. Its one of those photos where you would wanna keep looking at over and over again.The colours are perfect. This is so well composed and captured.

Oh Maria! This photo would have so much more impact without the patch of sky. I did a ws to show you. But I still love the light, and the way they are positioned in the boat is great. You captured a great moment. TFS!

Hi Marija,
There is some really great lighting here.
The subjects/silhouette's in the boat are captured quite well in their actions or non-actions.
I very much like the more panoramic/widescreen cropping.
I do have to agree with Pierre on the non inclusion of the sky here. I do love this image, but think Pierre's WS really does some justice to the image.
If there is more foreground water in the original it would be great to keep this size and have more of the water foreground so when cutting out the sky the image would not be to thin on the horizontal.
I might have a WS up my sleave...!
Anyway, very nice catch and again the lighting is very nice..

That's a nice shot. Looks like it was taken from a movie.
I always have a soft spot for silouhettes and this one is simply great! Well seen, the guy standing breaks the pattern in a very nice way. Bravo! :)

Hi, Marija! This looks like dangerously too many men in a small boat! Gives it an air of tension - or maybe humor?! ;)

Beautiful blues and the silhouettes are wonderful! I like Pierre's workshop, but he's created a different effect or mood. With the sky, you have more of a sense that this is real! It's not an art poster! These guys are really out in a small fishing boat, and they're surrounded by mountains and a beautiful environment. You did a great job getting the tones so smooth - the mountains look like velvet! I love this!

Wow! this is a cinematic masterpeice! I looks straight out of a movie for some reason! You couldn't have asked for better poses from the people in the boat. You composition and cropping are excellent and the blue colors are perfect for the mood of the photo. Really beautiful photo! JP

From the lake again, maybe, but surely never the same. Except for the wonderful feelings of water and mood. And i prefer your version after all, though both Michael and Pierre did a really good job. But i do prefer to see the sky. OK, the only thing that a bit bothers me is that 'touch' of blue hill and the black frame on the top.

It has some Italian cinema feeling in it [Mediteraneo], relaxed, carelles.

Your composition is good but it could have bee better if you did notcrop closely the top or the sky. you should have the area of the sky flow on top of the mountain.

Beautiful capture, Marija, with all of this peaceful blue for these peaceful fishermen and I like that one of them is standing as it adds dimension to it. I must admit that I prefer the WS version both of Micheal & Pierre that takes the sky away to focus on the water & the boat but the rest of your picture is very moody and well done!

C'est Magnifique ! I can only admire the colors that you have captured.. Speaks volumes about the eye you have for shots :-)

One thing that you cud have done is reduce the size of the top & bottom border frames and either got in more sky towards the right or as you have done in a workshop remove the sky totally..

Hello Marija,
It's a stunning image and one that particularly speaks to me because I love mountains, sailing and the colour blue. I had a look at the other workshops and although all of them are great, they created a different image altogether and missed somewhat on the scale of things which you captured so well.

The horizontal black frame is testfully chosen and what more can I add than my compliments.

Like a scene from a movie. Ohrid in blue, never seen it this way. I like the figure standing, living up the line dividing lake and mountain. Excellent.
