Bonjour Francis,

Beautiful sunflower with great harmony of colors! The sharpness and POV are wonderful, keeping the subject on the left side of the picture, works very well. Another blurred sunflower enhances the beauty of the picture drastically.
A very eye-catching shot!

Nice control of the DOF, the compo is just right to me.. I like the backlighting in particular as it makes the petals and stem stand out nicely.

Nice capture with ligh coming from the back which illuminates the petal and gives that white fringe on the body of the sunflower (tournesol in french , and girasol in spanish more aimed on the tropism - but the english name is better for your shot.This is really a Sun.

Hello, Francis -
Beautifully composed with the full, backlit flower on the left, leaving space on the right for the others in the background. Very warm colors and light, great bokeh produces an impressionist painting effect in the bg. Very nice work.

it's interesting that you have chosen backlight here - many would have gone for the full-frontal approach, but your approach is more intimate, quieter if you want.
which makes the photo very original.
