Harbour of Valletta

Valletta is The Fortress City, is named after its founder Jean Parisot de la Valette. The magnificent fortress city grew on the arid rock of Mount Sceberras peninsula, which rises steeply from two deep harbours, Marsamxett and Grand Harbour. Started in 1566, Valletta was completed, with its impressive bastions, forts and cathedral, in the astonishingly short time of 15 years.

Hallo Achim,

You have nicely selected the point of view and placement. A beautiful moment has been captured in this frame where a lot of things can be seen. Twinkle on the water by reflection is interesting. An excellent view my friend, well done.

Hello Achim.
For a scan of a negative, not bad at all.
Good composition.
I was on Malta only ones for te stop over, but when I was working in Libya, we had many people from Malta there in the dessert too.
