| This is one of the colorful fishing boats in Malta. The traditional Maltese fishing boat is called "Luzzu" and most boats have eyes ike this photo to ward off the evil. These curved and painted eyes are the eyes of Osiris, an Egyptian god. |

Hi Yukiko,
Good shot of this Maltese fishing boat. Nice contrast and texture. That cloth attached below the eyes adds to the composition.

Great shot -- it looks like a luzzu bandito. The lighting really helps the composition, giving it great depth.

Wonderfully colourful image with lots of detail.
Very well seen and composed.
A slightly more shallow DOF (f8 or 5.6) would have put the background out of focus and put less emphasis on it.
Nevertheless a wonderful work!
