| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The cross is a memorial to a tragedy that happened at sea. On PS I converted the photo to mono by desaturating and adding contrast. I've also added some gassiuan blur around the edges for a softer look and finally added the frame. The lens I used is the 70-300mm and since it was during daylight I used the highest Aperture to obtain the least shutter possible for some wave effect. |

i like a lot the concept of the image...it expresess a lot of things, and its well done, but I really think it can be better without the gassiuan blur... the picture is explosive, dont stop it's rage...

A very srong image!
Great photo, with a strong motion!
I like the ambiguous mood in it, both dynamic and silently commemorating.
And great title, love that song! :)

Great photo Matthew. I think if you make the cross sharp and the others blurred it would be better (just my taste). Anyways good composition and b/w rendition.

Belle photo pleine de mouvement Matthew!
Excellent choix du NB
Michel.
hi Mathew.
It's pity that this photo has no sharp focus. This cross is ideal object to focus on and build whole photo around it. As other comments said this photo has a great and strong story.
