Why I put This picture into a "Negative View" theme?.. Hmm..I think, this picture is sad for me, because these two old men came on 9th of May at the cemetery to put some flowers for their deceased mother, who was growing a big family in times of II World War...I just cannot see them laughing or happy...except for the man on the right, maybe he's encouraging the other one not to mourn...

hello Igori,
this is a good double portarit but I don't see these men as sad (therefore that this is a negative image). But it is all about interpretation and perhaps if you could say in a note why you think they are sad it would be helpful. I guess you see heas old and poor but for me they are still smiling regardless of that.

Hello Igori

I have to agree with Bev here they dont look particularly sad but the theme is all about your personal interpretation of the title.

Having said that it is quite a nice capture of these two older gentlemen and the sepia ages the shot well

TFS and for joining the theme

kind regards Helen
