[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This my first shot of the animal at so close range. This is not my dog. She has 5 puppies and she is very protective. I tried to capture the expression of satisfaction, tiredness, trust and precaution..

I've tried but it's difficult to know the result. When you take a portrait of a person you have at least one opinion, from this person...Here I have just the expression of her eyes :-)

Hello Sandu,
This is a cute picture. I thought it was amazing that you got so close to the dog since she was protecting her puppies.
Michaela

She looks curious but on guard.I think you were very fortunate to get this close to her. She is beautiful

Hi Sandu
You have made a very good photograph of this dog. Given your comments you have captured the right mood. (However I do not like to be picky but we are all here to learn. It is a pity that the path on the left and at the top of the image is burnt out. You might be able to do something about these areas with your software.)

Nah, not only from her eyes... also from her ears!
Maybe there's some sadness in her eyes because she wears a very heavy collar, Sandu. If possible, remove it before shooting. Ah well, since it's not your dog... ;o).
PoV is very good, but IMO the background is a bit disturbing. You could try selecting it and applying some darkening and desaturation; that usually works fine and keeps the attention more on the dog.
Anyway, TFS and for adding it to my GS theme!
