Wonderful use of shallow depth of field here, while also retaining these repeated "bursts" or dots in the closed buds of the flowers at the left and the spotted soil at the right half. Really good use of black and white, which makes this unique and brings out the tonalities in the shot. Very good detail and clarity, nice sense of textures here. The placement of the flowers at the far left is good, but there's a bit too much negative space at the right that could be cropped off while also keeping the flowers at the left side of the shot. Great POV from the top looking straight down to make the blooming flower really pop out. TFS!

your picture has a special visual atraction due to the good focus on the flower ( details and sharpnees are very good) in contrast with the BG
on the other hand BW suits very well
