Hello Mieky. A small improvement in composition may enhance this otherwise beautiful picture of the butterfly. The white flower is a beautiful part of the image but it may be too distracting. I suggest that whenever you take a picture, you concentrate on one subject and a complementing but weaker background so as not to create a chaotic image. Always remember that the simpler the composition of your picture, the better it will look.

Hope this helps my friend.

Regards,

Pierre

Hi Annemiek
I also wonder why did you include the white flower in this frame. The butterfly in green atmosphere would be more impressive.
But still I like this picture.
Peter.

Hello Annemiek,

I like butterflies and the colours they show. This one is a very colourful little fellow and I like it that you adjusted colours to bring this feature out better.

Let me ask you if your camera was set to the highest possible resolution? That might help to avoid the pixelated look.

As Pierre and Peter mentioned it is always better to concentrate on one subject and in this case it is the butterfly.

I did a workshop for you to show you what is meant by a different cropping. I hope you like it. Let me know what you think.

Keep on taking photos and posting them. It is such a great hobby. Wish you lots of fun and pleasant hours here on TL.

Regards,
Britta
