Thnxs for the comments at my previous post.
Several regular riders in the Supersport World Championship had success in other forms of racing that exact weekend, in the build-up to the Assen WSS round on Sunday 26th April.
In the World Endurance Championship, Matthieu Lagrive, who rides for the Althea Honda team in WSS, was second at the classic Le Mans race, alongside a double WSS Champion of the recent past, Sebastien Charpentier. Barry Veneman, who rides for Hoegee Suzuki in the Supersport World Championship, was third at Le Mans.
