Jules Cluzel (born October 12, 1988 in Montluçon) is a French Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He competes in the F.I.M. 250cc world championship riding an Aprilia
Young French rider Jules Cluzel made his 250cc Grand Prix debut in 2006 with the Equipe de France-Scrab GP team. Cluzel took part in the 125cc Honda CBR Junior Cup in 2004 finishing in third place. In 2005 he came second in the French national 125cc championship on board an Aprilia and also made his 125cc World Championship debut as a wild-card in the French GP.
His first full season on the 250cc GP scene saw him finish in 20th place, with points earned at four Grands Prix. In 2007 the Italian Angaia Racing team provided him with the opportunity to ride a 250cc Aprilia once again but Cluzel could not improve results and slipped to 21st in the standings. A move down to the 125cc class did not help matters last year as he was unable to trouble the point scorers, so the Frenchman tries his luck again on 250cc machinery with the Matteoni Racing squad in 2009
