Hi Loon,
Great presentation of this "sad" picture.
It struck me right away as sad.... simply because of the withering petals, the cut off flower.
I think the color could be a bit "harder", darker... so that it's really "blue"!
On the other hand.. this color is quite a tender one....
Over all a very nice image Loon!

I don't like the sound of it - very sad losing a loved one - but you matched the words with the mood in this picture - and the soft blue is just the right shade.
