Hi Hans,
I like this shot very much - you know I love insects - and butterflies are the queens of insects. But I'm also a little sad that this is one of the last ones - I will miss them all in winter - and there were not many butterflies here this year, I wonder!

Hi Hans
You have chocen on of the most difficult things to take a photo from. They are moving all the time, it is difficult to focus to geth that d.... thing sharp - you have nearly succeded, maybe it is because of the resize I dont know, but there is a slightly mis of sharpness. And after my opinion, a beautiful thing like a butterfly, it is a shame to ruin the beaty with the colors from the flowers in the background and the colors surrovnding the butterfly, therefor one could have chosen to conwert it to B&W please se the workshop maybe you agree.
All thise with the danger to sound negative and I am not, because I think you have done a good job, nicely captured, great POV, and some like it with all the colors surrovnding it, so all in all you deserve maximum point to this one.

Mooi zeg !!
Mooie kleuren en veel details. Ik heb dit soort al een lange tijd niet meer gezien. Erg mooie dof. De achtergrond is netjes ge-blurred, hoewel de achtergrond rechtsboven wat eilandjes laat zien. Maar dat past best in deze plaat.
En weer een goede note, natuurlijk.
