howdy folks,

Today we visited my sister in law... she has a lovely pond in the backyard with some great waterlilies in it.
Here's the heart of one of them... I love the black plant lice in there....
A pond, no matter how small, brings so much life in your garden... I love it.

Added some sharpness and contrast and cropped this for you.
Hope you will enjoy it.

Hi Anneke,

Excellent macro work, the center of the flower is perfectly sharp while the petals are nice and soft. Wonderful colors and the bugs show nature at work in the minutest scale. TFS

A very impressive macro, waterlilies are my favourite flowers to photograph so this is a pleasure to my eyes. The clarity and details are impeccable, makes me feel like going out and buying a macro lens right now! Lol. Awesome colours too, the composition and exposure also work well. Great job.

A fine macro with a mixture of pastel and vivid colour tones. The focus is pin-sharp, capturing the interesting details of the varied textures, the light and shade and, of course, the tiny visitors.
