[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today I have a so called "balance day". Normally this term is used in food-context: when you eat too much today, you should eat the half next day (the 'balance' day).
Now I use this term in photography. Yesterday I made a shocky image, which was not really recognized by the TL-members as artwork. So today I'm balancing with this upload.

I made this photo in Giethoorn, see my previous posting of this beautiful place.

Shown is a so called "bakhuis", translated: bakery barn, in which the farmer made his own bread and oildumplings.
You can also see milk-churns in which the milk from the cows is transportated to the factory. And, ofcourse, you see a boat .... you see MANY boats in Giethoorn, because there are more water-roads than streets over there.
I wonder how they transportated the cows with these boats to the farms..... ;-)

Hoi Joop,
Een mooie foto met een goed perspectief. De shuine lijen geven de foto een pretig beeld. Het bakhuis is het perfecte focuspunt, maar alle andere elementen zijn ook erg prettig om naar te kijken. Wel jammer dat de licht zo hard is. Verschillende delen zijn toch wel overbelicht. Gebruik de volgende keer een CP filter, en dan is de kans op overbelichting al stukken kleiner.

Hi Joop - first I have to laugh out loud, then I have to thank you, because already I was fearing the worst - spiders or favourite son-in-laws - you don't really know what to expect. I then this blissfully beautiful picture of Giethoorn - ppffff - thank you SO much.
