wonderful composition almost abstract and very intriguing in bl/wh format. your eye is drawn to the only bit of space and one eating grass. i would clone out that odd ear in the bottom left. tfs

Ruud,
Nice shot - especially in the black and white. I think snaphappy is right, in that the eye is drawn through the gap to the grazing horse. Is this a good thing or not?

I've tried a tighter crop in the workshop which eliminates this, concentrating on horse backs and horse mains - more graphic, more abstract, perhaps.

Like the principle here.

Regards
Colin

Hi Ruud

I like the idea here - a nice, unusual abstract shot. Works well in b&w too.

But I also agree with Colin and snaphappy, and I think Colin's workshop is an improvement.

Cheers.
John

This one is really good!
The eyes can travel arround the details of the horses giving an ambience.
Un saludo
