Franz... your intro says you're just starting, but I disagree. You are getting the most of your D40 (I'm toying with getting one myself, so I love seeing these impressive pictures).

This portrait is one you could sell; indeed, my friend, I think you are now a budding photographer, advanced in skill beyond many of us here (at least me regarding people shots) - keep up the great work! Wow....

I've simply got to get to a Carnaval one of these days... TFS!
