Anyway great idee well executed. You won the first price :-) Great contrast and light also an excellent composition of those "TL shaped gell balls" or what ever they are.

Gaaf om zoiets met elkaar op te zetten. Gaan we zeker vaker doen! Op de een of andere manier zijn jouw balletjes het gladst van allemaal en zorgen voor een mooie glans. De ondergrond en de kleuren maken de foto lekker strak!

hi Simone,
I like composition on those gel drop,
but the problem is...
"It was very hard to capture these little things because most of the photo's were blurred and the drops itself not very clear."

maybe next time you have to try with f/more than 10, like f/11, f/13, f/14, play with the low time, and give more light to get perfect highlight, you can use continue light if you dont have flash or you can use sun light :)

Gee Simone, if you’re going to make me choose, I will take this one. I really like the way you have them lined up and the reflections at the back of each. I love the black and white. Great job of capturing this very difficult subject.

Excellent idea of posting pictures of the same subject, in the same time...very original!!! I think I like Janneke's best for her colors and simple composition! In yours I like the composition, very interesting POV, and the rendering of the details through the gel balls. In Alex's I like the image processing. Great job, to the three of you!!!

Great piece of art - getting the drops all in focus like this is an achievement in itself, and the use of light and the contrast created by the dark surface really make this an eye catching picture.
