Janneke, another beautiful crocus shot. Lovely focus on the stamen. Very nice composition and and blurred background.
Janneke, you live in Enschede?? I lived many years ago in Gronau. When I wanted to take the train to Amsterdam for the weekend, I would always catch a ride to Enschede and take the train from there. Small world, isn't it?

Very nice shot.Would a smaller aperture have helped with your dof? and the lower leaf? It reminds me of an oyster and a pearl or a little box with a diamond ring inside (imagination is a wonderful thing)

What vibrant colours you have here Janneke.
You are right - it is not easy to concentrate on one part of the flower and hope all of the petals are sharp. You focus well on the centre stamen - well done

This is a superb macro shot of the spring flower color and really brings a cheerful air into the season. I think it is quite fair to say most of the spring excitements on TL come from Belgium, Netherlands region when you have so many fields of planting flowers in display.

Hoi Janneke,
Ik zie dat je zelf kritisch bent, maar ik vind het een mooie een goede foto. Mochten we ooit een TN meeting in Twente doen dat wil ik je wel eens iets meer uitleg geven over scherpte diepte en de manual instellingen. Een tip voor dit soort foto's denk aan een kleinere diafragma wanneer je dichterbij het object komt. Als je F/11 had gebruikt was de onderkant denk ik wel scherp.
Verder zijn detail, kleur en belichting super.
