Double Reflection

I made this digital painting with 2 pictures.
Both pictures had a scene with reflections in the water.
I joined them, using tranparancy.
60% for picture 1, and 90% for picture two.
At picture 1 I added more blue colours and at picture 2 I added more yellow and red colours.
I chose the most interesting part and cropped the picture.
I resized the picture till 600*800 and found out that it had so many colours that it was still 520 Kb.
So I decreased the colour depth and resized until 625*517 and had the data reduced just bellow 200 Kb.

Spectacular work of art Rob. The colors are truly amazing. The reds and the greens work well together to make this a strong composition.

Hi rob, your pp work is very good and you came across with this beautiful landscape, full of colors and reflections (although the decreased color).
I like the ochre tones, so relaxating!

Rob your technique has worked well here and it is something I will like to try in the future. Really nice composition and mixture of colours. The water movement made something special on the trees... superb. Regards

this for me is a very interesting idea as I love reflections and this method looks very effective the grass in the foreground give it the interest and added abstraction

Hi Rob, nice merge with the two photos. The merge is seamless. The natural law does not apply here. From my eyes, I see some twist 3D effect. Nice creation.

Jag tror du har lika roligt när du trixar med bilder som när du målar - det syns på resultaten! Här blev det en vacker lek med motiv och färger.

how did i miss this?? the red in the foreground is what catches my eye in this. and i love the hint of sky and the reflection of the tree.
