[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a selfportrait. It's really hard to do, especially with focus. It seems not perfectly sharp here, but the larger version does, really weird.
Anyway, I darkened the picture myself, I shot it much lighter. I thought this effect would look nice!
I used the light from the lamb above me, I didn't use the flash. The blue light is from my window (and curtains).

Intriguing. You make a pretty model and I like the bue tones from the window - they create a very interesting highlight. Strong eye contact.

After resizing, you can add sharpening and it will make the focus look more crisp.

Babeth,
I like this, it's not the usual handheld self-portrait. Your arms don't look elongated and you caught good catch-light in your eyes. You might have darkened it a little too much but it's just a minor point, although it did keep the background from being distracting.
I very much agree with rewshearer, the blue tones are nice.
Well done, keep shooting.
Scott

Hi Babeth,
Nice self-portrait. I like the color tone and perspective. Simple but attractive.

zelfportretten zijn moeilijk

Hi Babeth:
You used light here to create a sense of depth and perspective which is hard to do in two dimensional photography. I think you lost a touch of sharpness after downsizing and a little crop off the top may have added a little more. but still a great selfportrait with the accent on the lovely eyes.......... thanks for showing.........Roman:0)

you look very nice...a nice selfportrait

Even with this distortion you looks beautiful. congratulations!
