[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of around 20 shots, taken from several soap bubbles blown during a walk on the heath, The evening sun lights the picture just enough for the bubble to come out well, also thanks to the cloud-less sky.

Hi Rene, welcome to Treklens.
You're in for a treat, you'll definitely get the tips and advice you're looking for.
i've been on the site for less than a year, and i've welcomed and learned from everybody's comments and notes.

This is a pretty neat first upload. Excellent idea too.
The bubble has caught the sunlight and created so many reflected images within itself, that it's added a really nice touch to the subject.

The camera has coped with the focus and light well too.
You've obviously taken time to get it right.

I think breaking the rule of thirds here has worked pretty well. Although there's more sky in the shot than anything else, the bubble has balanced the whole thing.

I really like the dark ring shadow on the top and bottom half, and looking really closely, you can see inside the bubble which looks as if it's filled with mist and it's about to split in half.

Yeah,
well done

Martin

Welcome to TrekLens Rene

Delightful subject - nice sharpness on the bubble, good low placement of the horizon. Nice use of negative space to draw the eye downwards to your subject.

A good shot!

Welcome to TL!
great first shot
TFS

20 shot is nothing, for example one day i did 200 tries for butterflies and 2 or 3 were reasonably good ^^
interesting try, good effort, i think it is possible to do better, including the horizon line in a different way, or something else, but it's a very fine fist entry
welcome
