Took this one yesterday. The flower was already quite dark by itself, I wanted to make it a little lighter, but then the colors were not that nice anymore, so I decided to keep it this dark.

Ik heb eerst je andere foto's bekeken. Maar bij allemaal heb je een bijzondere kijk op de dingen. net als met deze bloem.Prachtige compositie en scherp waar het moet zijn. Héél mooi gemaakt.

Hello Babeth, Wonderful composition of this lovely orange flower. Antennas and pollens are in sharp focus. Like the shallow depth. Actually I think the darkness here is kind of accentuating the flower's color more and not degrading it. Good click.
