[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this one today at the passageway for boats. I don't know what it's called in English. (When a boat enters some sort of chamber where they put water in to rise the boat to the river behind the doors. That one has a higher waterlevel than the river below.)

There was a small hill with rocks next to the river to avoid that water floats to the village behind it, in case we have high water.

Het woord "sluis" kun je prima vertalen (zie deze site) en daar komt dan de engelse vertaling "lock" uit.

Wel een mooie zwart-wit opname met een speciaal POV.
