This is a picture I made on one of the first summery days here in Holland. It was about 26 degrees ^-^ very hot! (for our standards anyway)
I was looking for colours in the garden and photographed our tree with actual red leaves. Then I saw the sun shine through a tiny hole in a leaf and photographed that instead ^-^ It came out great and it didn't even need any editing except resizing ^-^
I tried to crop it to make it even better, but it didn't work out the way I wanted, so I left it like this. I'm very pleased with the result and hope you think it's great too :D
btw I named it Ray of Hope because it seemed as if the sun manages to appear everywhere, even in the places where you least expect it ^-^
I really hope you like it and leave lots of comments ^-^ Regards Fleury |

Dag fleur, mooie foto!
De diepte is erg leuk hier,

Hello Fleur,
I like this, warm colours and a nice glint from the sun.

Hi, I like this photo. This actually has a nice composition and with an adequate light and sharpening it would stand out more. JMHO.
Cheers. Davis

Hi Fleur,
You were quite right to leave (no pun intended) the image uncropped. The dark area on the right hand side gives a nice balance to the leaf with the star burst.
Well done!
Peter.
PS; thanks for your comment on Michael.
